Skills

Knowledge of both PC and Mac operating systems. Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash, and Acrobat, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Web design knowledge including XHTML, CSS, ASP.NET, and all aspects of web site planning, design, content development, and management.

Experience in digital imaging, preparing files for both print and web, managing projects from inception to completion, and working with clients, other designers, developers, and printers.

June 2003–Present: Independent web and graphic designer
Former and current clients include the University of Idaho, Conscious Creative, Noyo Food Forest, Organicures Nail Spa, Alpha & Omega Global Risk Management, Palouse Peace Coalition, Moscow Hempfest, T&D Landscaping, Emergence Farm to Food Solutions, Moscow CommUNITY Walk, Idaho 4-H, Moscow Properties, and other organizations and individuals.
Designed various web sites, brochures, posters and flyers, apparel graphics, mailings, books, newsletters, and other projects for a variety of local and national clients. See my portfolio for project details.

April 2006–Present: Newsletter Designer

Design of monthly 28-page newsletter, including photo and ad preparation, ad design, newsletter design and page layout, and file preparation for printing.

February 2008–Present: Contract Web Designer
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
Part-time contractor responsible for the design and maintenance of various PETA web sites and web campaigns.

September 2005–June 2007: Web Designer

Responsible for the design of web graphics, pages and features, redesigns, new web sites, and maintenance of various PETA web sites, using XHTML, CSS, ASP, XML, and Flash.

April 2004–August 2005: In-house graphic and web design intern
IdahoSTARS: Idaho State Training And Registry System
As the design intern, I was responsible for designing a cohesive public awareness campaign that included a billboard, posters, newsletters, promotional materials, and redesign of website. I conceptualized and created a brand identity for the non-profit child care organization.
